| Re: Tuesday Morning Thanks guys. I think the FW190 is kind of a rare model, which I was also surprised to find. When I got to the store it was the only Corgi left, and since TM's toy department is usually messy, I had to dig a bit under some boxes but it was well worth the effort. The Stuka and the Me109 I found together at another store. Altogether I've visited 4 TMs in my area which is Portland, Oregon. Yesterday I checked on one of the stores that I've gone to about three weeks ago and found a couple more Corgis: US33816 P-47D Thunderbolt 'Miss Plainfied'. lt. Spiros 'Steve' Pisanos, 334th Fs/4th FG, Debden, 1943 AA35208 P-40E Warhawk White 7, 41-1456, USAF, 23rd FG, Col. Robert L Scott, Burma 1942
Like I've said before, I've only now started collecting WWII planes and am happy to find any low priced Corgis, but I think some luck has also been on my side judging by what I've found.
If any of you live in Portland, check your TMs. |
