First of all, Corgi doesn't make Mustangs in 1/72nd scale...Don't know why. I would think they would be a huge seller. After all, who doesn't like Mustangs?
Draggin' - Hands down the absolute cream of the crop..No one thus far comes even close...Positionable canopy, flaps and landing gear...The numerous so-called "fiddly bits" and lack of a pilot is an issue for many, but not for me..I collect model planes - not people. Most of the pilots you see in diecast look like something that Gort brought back from one of his many travels anyway.... and I just love fiddlin' with them bits. That's what separates the model look from the toy look in my (and
planenuts) opinion............But where the hell's
Lord Is My Shepherd !
Witty - not too terribly bad-but not too terribly good either....That low-riding alien in the cockpit, and no gear up option.Permanently fixed flaps and closed canopy..The only one I would probably ever consider getting would be "Stinky"...
AEROArt - These look pretty sharp.Positionable flaps., detailed cockpit interior. No gear up option, permanently closed canopy..Extremely limited selection..Keep in mind these are "two-seaters"...A little acetone will take care of the superfluous national insignia.
