Re: If Airplanes were Women

Was thinking of some of the women I've known and decided to post a comparison of them here.

Charisma (former fiance) would have to be a Mirage III. Svelte, sexy to look at, great at manuvering, but not too much depth, short ranged, rather tempermental, but really shined when she was in a happy mood. Alas, her lack of depth and beyond visual range capability doomed her to constant mediocrity, and her departure characteristics were far from kind, she definately was the type to snap without provocation.

Andrea (last housemate) would be an F-4 phantom. Very good multi role platform (cooked, cleaned, hiked, outdoorsy) not as svelte and sexy as the Mirage, but her strong points made up for her other deficiencies. Unfortunatly her departure charicteristics were like the Phantom, wicked and without warning.

Jenny (recent fling) like a Japanese Zero. Nice to look at, and easy to set aflame once proper manuvers commenced.

Kathi (last fling) likely a Brewster buffalo, long in tooth, an easy victory to an experienced hunter. No real redeeming qualities aside from a certain cuteness in certain areas.

Katie (other fling) would have to be a Wildcat, not too much to look at, but tough, fun and liable to strike without warning, in a positive manner....she's one who would get you home when things were looking bad all around.

Julile. (best ever) An F-14 Tomcat. The best Beyond Visual Range lady i've ever known, sexy, smart, (Harvard PhD) multi talented, great to interact with on all levels. Unfortunately like the Tomcat, she ended up in other hands while replaced by an inferior platform.

Just some random thoughts that popped into my head.

Still looking for another Tomcat type lady.
