You know I was just fantasizing that maybe the two companies: 1/72nd IXO & 1/48 Marushin's N1K2 Shiden "George" fighter a/c, could/should make a floatplane version of their diecast fighter, since that particular Japanese naval fighter a/c did evolve from the Kawanishi N1K1 Kyofu 'Rex' floatplane design in the first place. Man, how cool would that be?!!  |

Remember, if the N1K1-J had been a simple land adaptation of the N1K1, the N1K2-J resulted from an extensive redesign of the airframe, to move the wings to the low position...
