Re: Strawberry bitch haunted???

None of this is surprising to me, though it makes great stories.

Why is it that under Western science, that which lab coats can't see becomes unreal. Why can't we understand previous tribal cultural lore, which states that spirits can outlive the living, especially if their lives were suddenly plucked away. There is no better canditate for this then battlefields. I can remember driving one time with two friends along the Pali Highway on Oahu, where a battle was fought back in 1795, when the army of King Kamehameha invaded Oahu. Kamehameha's army advanced from what is now Honolulu up the Nuuanu valley until they came upon the Koolau mountain range. There the army of Oahu was pushed off the cliffs, and the present day Pali Highway was built over their bones. So one evening we were driving back from Honolulu, and went through the tunnel cut through the Koolau's. All of a sudden we heard the sound of many voices screaming, which we assumed was people screaming from the back of a truck. Only thing was there were no trucks, just two other solitary vehicles. Needless to say we were all speechless for the rest of the journey.

So when I hear stories of haunted battlefields, i'm not surprised that there are still restless spirits roaming there.

Skysurfer808

Hey skysurfer808, ever here of east range near Schofield barracks that place has plenty of Hawaiian ghost's,
No one ever told me about them I had to find out for my self.

I too have had a bad experience along the Pali Highway on Oahu, I used to fish at Kaneohe Bay, and one time I was headed back to Schofield barracks when all of a sudden my car stereo goes berserk flipping channels and all of my power windows start going up and down….when I turn off the highway on to H-1 every thing worked out just fine.
Tell me about haunted Oahu. I lived there.

I once had a pair of shoes that I liked to wear, well it had some small lava rocks that where embedded in the soles,,, well after I got out of the service I was wearing them while I was driving on night back home in north Dakota and wham my right rear tire blew out I lost control and rolled my car 10 times.. I broke my neck, I had gobs of bad luck before that …after that I mailed my shoes back to Hawaii,,,, POOF my bad luck disappeared….
