It looks like it would have the turning circle of an oil tanker a far more impressive use of an aircraft engine was done in the 1960s when someone built a life size replica of FAB 1 the Rolls Royce of Lady Penelope, the power unit was a Merlin from a Spit the owner would only quote the top speed as "over 200mph".
