Re: armour b-17

Sometime down the road I might just be looking to buy a big scale b -17, If I am going to spend the money is armour worth it? I want it to be as real as can be or would corgi be just as good? Any thoughts would help, thanks guys, dave the tank nut.

I don't have a FM B-17, but I've taken some real close looks at 'em. For my money, I'd go with Corgi -- I think overall the pooch's heavies are more detailed/accurate and much more practical for display, too... (not to mention much less expensive). I do have a FM B-26 (Big Hairy Bird) and B-25 Doolittle Raider that I like quite a a bit, though. (very sparse interior detail, though).
