New York, New York | | | | Recommending Planes For Corgi's 2008 Diecast Lineup I'm sure that a lot of us have been watching anxiously as Corgi, under new management, contemplates its business plans for 2008 and beyond. Assuming that they continue to produce a quality 1:72 scale line and considering sensible profitability issues, including the ability to turn out numerous detailing schemes, making planes used by a number of Allied or Axis nations-if possible, etc What would be your top five picks? Mine are a Beaufighter in various marks, an A-20C/ G, an IL-2m, a Mig-15 and a C-47. While I'd much rather have an Oscar, Mc-202, PE-2, Val, F-105, Kate, FW-200, DO-17Z or Hudson-to name a few, I could live with the first five, mentioned above, and Corgi could probably make more money offering them. Does anyone else care to chime in with their own business minded advice for Corgi to follow when making its plans for 2008-2009? |
