What about this piece of kit from Italy? Kaoschallenged's post on the History Channel's Forum refers to it as the worst ground attack plane in the war!

OK the Ba.65 From Italy . Some consider it the Worst ground attack plane in WWII. From an article that was written by Jon Guttman and originally published in World War II Magazine in November 1996:
"During World War II, while some aircraft designs like the Supermarine Spitfire and the Messerschmitt Me-109 were good enough for improved versions to fight throughout the conflict, the Breda Ba.65 did not survive its first year. Ill-conceived from its very inception, the plane's brief combat career ensured it a dubious place in history as arguably the worst attack plane of World War II."
