Re: Anyone have pics of an real Uzbek Su-27?

There are so many variants of the Flanker that it would take a book to list them all, depending on country of service.
This one is definitely the same plane shown on a.net, the splinter camo tandem Su-30.
If we all get lucky, Witty will maybe hit the spot with the cockpit shape of any future release. Actually, leaving aside the F-16s (single and tandem), Witty has consistently screwed up all modern day jet fighter canopies, from the Su-27 we're talking about, the Tomcat, the F-15 tandem AND the single seat's "hump".
Next in the line is the MiG-29 Fulcrum, and so far I have seen no images of any sample (Zed???????) but did see the Corgi one (very dissappointing!). Crossing my fingers!

b-huj, right on all counts.

First, I'm glad I'm not the only one to dislike the Witty canopies on everything except their F-16s.

Second, I'm looking forward to Yefim Gordon's book on the Su-27 series, it seems like it will be THE referrence (if it's anything like his superb MiG-29 book). Looks like it's already out in the UK, but not quite in the US yet (soon according to Amazon.com). It's worth waiting due to the huge price difference between the two countries. He apparently also has one on the MiG-21 coming out.

Finally, I agree with you that the shape of Corgi's upcoming MiG-29 is highly suspect. Hopefully the actual production model will be better than the pre-pro pictures indicate.
