The Raptor was indeed there -- and it was sure tough to keep in the viewfinder. Learning a new lens, most of the Raptor pics came out soft but here she is...

I took scads of photos, most of 'em went straight into the recycle bin -- air shows are tough to shoot (particularly for me) and yesterday's conditions were challenging -- hazy, hot, spots of overcast mixed with bright blue skies... did I mention hot (had to toss all my shots of the birds taxiing as the heat shimmer (that I couldn't seen in the view finder) distored 'em all...

I'll put all the shots online somewhere when I can for anyone interested, but here's some of the better pics I had of the Raptor .
