| Just got back home from the airshow. What a wonderfull time me and the family had! Got to see my favorite a/c the U-2 Dragon Lady do the fly-by as well as the usual suspects: F/A-18, F-15E Strike Eagle (and a P-51 Mustang which flew side-by-side with the Eagle - an amazing sight to behold!), a couple of black T-38s,
and the biggest surprise visit by a B-2 Stealth bomber....wooohooo!!! To bad the F-22 Raptor was towed back in the hangar due to some problem. The Airforce Thunderbirds flew for about 15 minutes but had to return back and cancel their demonstration! I don't have any of the details yet so I'll update accordlingly. That was a bummer. |
Hey Fly! Sorry to have missed you as PappyB and I were there too.
Did you miss the the Raptor? I did an amazing display early in the show. As for the T-birds, their show was interrupted for about 30 minutes as one plane made an emergency landing due to a bird-strike.
They got the show going again after bringing in one of the stand-by planes.
A good show overall (but it would be better if more Warbirds were included).
