| But for some reason Israeli schemes don't seem to be all that popular with diecast manufacturers (Witty the exception). Rather strange considering the operational history of the Israeli Air Force.
Let's hope HM won't have the same penchant for ignoring Israel and its Air Force. |
I think that this is politics more than anything else. A few years back Toys R Us pulled GI Joe Israeli trooper figure from the shelves in the US fearing backlash. The constant vilifying of Israel no matter what it does in the left wing press around the world made Israeli military liveries a taboo subject for diecast models manufacturers.
Kind of ironic, considering that one can get every conceivable SS
political and military figure in 1:6 as well as WWII NKVD dude.
Skyhawks, Mirage IIIs, and Centurions are a must in IDF livery considering their historical importance no matter what side of the fence you are on.
