P51D, I'm all thumbs, there's no way I could pull that off. I'd like to see your finished handywork.  I've checked the Dragon 109G prop and it looks miles better. I was just contemplating fishing out the IXO Bf110 to check its props on the G55. Don't think the Macchi 205 will work but I'll have look. Eerrrm, pics would be very welcome indeed. |
Although the mods went well I have to confess this modelling is new to me and I have packed the model away for now (loft) until i sort out the bits I need for my new air compressor/air brush.
Going away for a week but can dig out that prop when I get back if you like and take a pic.
Don't think you will find the Macchi 205 prop will work very well (have the IXO and kit props and both look wrong and too small on this aircraft)
