I think for a quick fix the 109G prop (i used one from a Dragon for a while) is about the best you are going to do.

Got fed up with this solution after a while and decided to modify a Corgi mossie prop. Needed a bit of filling, filing and sanding and the prop blades need shifting but now looks about right now.

P51D, I'm all thumbs, there's no way I could pull that off. I'd like to see your finished handywork. I've checked the Dragon 109G prop and it looks miles better. I was just contemplating fishing out the IXO Bf110 to check its props on the G55. Don't think the Macchi 205 will work but I'll have look. Eerrrm, pics would be very welcome indeed.
