Question How can we fix the bad IXO nose jobs???

I'm sure many of us have IXOs that fill the gap but at the same time are a bit, well niggley, they just get under the skin! I've got a Fiat G55 which was my first IXO through a swap for a FOV Stuka. Thing is, it's got the worst nose job on any diecast I've seen! That prop spinner is just plain wrong.

I was looking for a fix and thought that the best place to start was planes with the same/similar engine like the Bf109E/F/G and the Ki61 Tony. I figured take the prop for another diecast model and try it for size. Using a Dragon 109E prop may be the solution. What do you guys think?

I haven't gone the way of the plastic kit because out here they're just too pricey. Diecast makes more sense for me.

PS I don't have a Bf109E but tried the 109G prop and it fits but the profile is not quite right, a whole lot better that the original though.
