I can report with some confidence that the gear is indeed
fragile, sufficiently so that the current design will without any doubt prevent me from buying another GMP P40.
Why do I say this you may ask? Well, I've just successfully broken the landing gear system while
gently putting a little pressure on it to see whether I could correct the 'pigeon toed' stance on the one strut - partially my fault I know (

) , but I would prefer a system that is less 'gimmicky' and more solid (even two piece like EI and Carousel models would be far more preferable) ...
(The 'V' wire was also loose on my model when I received it but was easily fixed.)
