| Re: Hobby master release dates
To be fair, Hobby Master release dates are when they ship from the factory, not when they arrive in the retail stores. And so far they have been pretty good at keeping to their release schedule.
According to my reckoning, the following new moulds are still to be released this year: -
1) Mirage 2000
2) P-39
3) Bf-110
4) F-4 Phantom
5) F-5E
6) Mig-29
7) F-100
8) P-61
9) A-1 Skyraider
That's certainly an optimistic schedule! But I am happy for them to delay some if it means that we get: -
a) a better quality model (ie. not rushed out the door)
b) unique models, not being made by other companies.
On the basis of point b) above, I wouldn't be unhappy if they delayed the models that have also been announced by other manufacturers; the Phantom (Gemini), Mig 29 (Corgi) and the A1 Skyraider (Gemini). |
