Re: Diecast model magazines

Fortunately, I have the money to indulge myself and, as my wife says, return to the yesteryears of my mispent youth. Any magazines out there worth reading?

Abt that mispent youth. You didn't mispent it. You were too busy working to enjoy some life . It's good to enjoy life.

My advice: If you're looking for great or superb detail go for model kit. I know it's a pain to build them. But as you say you are fortunate enuf to afford such things so you could probably spent extra bucks to get a master modeller do the modelling for you. I suggest to pick the top of the line model(Those top scale, very good in detail, makes for a superb display especially after you encase them in a wooden base acrylic display case with a nameplate). But be warned that they may not feel like a hefty diecast. But then again it's a static model not meant to be carried around. Cheers.
