Re: Altaya Biplanes

I have one. It is one of the better ones but still under par. More of a tourist gift shop paper weight classification. Guy wires are hot glued directly to the wing big globs of dried glue painted over. Wings too thick and very warped. Propeller is being held in (no lie) by a straight pin it sags. wheels molded solid to struts painted terribly. Over-sized pilots and out of scale tail wheels.trust me go to e-bay and look up macemundi seller sea SE5a it is terrible most sellers only show model from above and far away angle. The Polikarpov looks tempting but if you collect birds by the big boys you will be disappointed. Run away don't walk.
