I bought this Sunday at Circuit City - what a find! Too bad when I got it home I discovered that my PC has a worthless graphics card and I can't run it!  I think that I can get a GeForce FX series for $40-50 but really don't have a clue what is good or not. Any experts out there? |
Hard to say without knowing more about your PC config -- post it or PM it to me and I can help you out. Been gaming for quite a while and am familiar with a wide range of cards... The Geforce 7600GT is a great choice right now for a "budget" card -- I think they're right around $100 now, (check out
www.pricegrabber.com). These cards give you serious gaming "bang for the buck" and can be used in an SLI configuration. Personally, I wouldn't go less than this card for this sim, but I am a bit nuttier than your average gamer
EVGA and XFX are generally good brands to consider...
