Maybe the P-51 is, mine is still sealed in the box? on that one, but both the German Bird and the Spit are Metal Winged.

That's interesting. I just assumed that they would all be that way. Maybe they did that to counter the common problem illustrated in both the Corgi and GMP examples (Gear correct but wing too thick or Wing correct but gear too thin. Maybe they deserve more credit than I gave them at first. However, Harry is right the riveting on the Mustang is atrocious. And the paint colors on the P-51, and the Spitfire that i saw, were way off almost pastel like.
