Hornisse : note the arms which stick out either side of the fighting compartment! What are they?
Could they be cradles to stick machine guns on, similar to what's on the rear of their halftracks?

Probably they are. I would like to point out that they are not included with the pre-built version of this Dragon ( they are probably included with the kit version ).
