Dear ZS Van, Man,

The Hornise is the early version of the Nashorn. Hitler didn't like the name, so it was changed.

The main points of dif. between the two variants appear to be :
  • the gun clamp differs between models
  • the Hornisse has what appears to be a breach-block rest which clutters the fighting compartment
  • probably there are small differences in the internal layout, but we need more expert opinion on that one.
Apart from these obvious differences between types, nothing else is obvious to me.

Come on you guys with the thick Ref. books, what else is different. ZS wants to sleep at night without trying to figure it out.
