The show was awesome - well worth the trip. There were lots of highlights for me: -
- the sound of the Merlin as the P-51D Mustang flew over
- seeing the two DH Vampires in the air
- the Corsair
But probably the most impressive sight was the little Polikarpov in flight - the guy flying it was throwing it around the sky, performing some amazing moves!
I'm planning on going to the Classic Fighters show at Easter weekend (
Classic Fighters Marlborough 2007) - can't wait for that :-)
