You have to keep up with Brit Argot :
to be " sick " comes from " I was as sick as a parrot! ". This popular
saying intimates to the recipient that "I" was jealous; annoyed
speechless; generally teed off by events.
The title infers that ( and here you have to suspend your disbelief ) had the Wright Brothers been aware of Microraptor gui, and its ability to fly as a biplane, and felt the tiniest bit threatened by its powers, and been alive at the same time ( or now ) and been told the news just after their first real 'flight', THEN they might have felt a little sick at being bested by a bird!
( a little like the Road Runner! )
