Memoirs of the Second World War by Winston Churchill.
Hands down the BEST book I've ever read about WWII. Too many superlatives to list. The man was a prolific writer who also happened to lead nations during one of the darkest moments in World history.

Another superb book that is incredibly intriguing as it too was written by one the highest profile figures of WWII is "Inside the Third Reich" by Albert Speer (Armaments Minister..."Hitler's Architect").
