I found this link, shows a B&W pic of, according to the caption below, the A-4 McCain was shot down in...hope this helps.

Found some more pics...one of his capture, and one of him standing with some fellow pilots...doesn't really show much of the A-4 though...and now at closer inspection, doesn't appear to be an A-4 they are in front of.
