| Hworth18 is right. The P-40 and P-51 (as well as the P-38) have been in the works at Dragon for a very long time, and they've made no secret about it. On the other hand, the only thing that seems to get Dragon off its rear-end these days is the appearance of a direct competitor. Dragon has long played fire with market saturation (it used to try some pretty outrageous stunts with selecting liveries for 1/400 airliner models, timing annoucements and making selections in an effort to dampen sales of competitors). But given how few models Dragon now releases in the diecast warbird world (relatively speaking), I honestly don't think they are being so foolish anymore. |
