Re: 21st 1:32 Spitfires

I found one today! Actually there were two but the other was in pretty bad shape. It's definately a $15 plane but I love it.
This paint finish was not all that great but I couldn't leave it there. Lots of little blemishes and nicks etc...

I hit it with some dul cote to even the finish and hide some of the flaws and it helped a ton. It needs other repairs of paint and such but I'm gonna leave it I think. Happy to answer any questions but I'll let the photos talk some.

Still looks nice and will get one (or two) when (if) they get in my area.

Parsig9 - those other 2 figures are cool - what line are they from?

Re: 21st 1:32 Spitfires

Neat looking model, have to see if any turn up in my area. Definitely one that could use a few touch ups.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Oryon is the company. Check Crossroads diecast. They carry the line.

At least the pilots door opens correctly which is more than can be said of my £90 Grumpy Spit

Re: 21st 1:32 Spitfires

Does anyone know if the Spitfire was packed by itself or was it paired with another plane. Several WM have stocked 2 yellow 11 FW190's and nothing else that I saw.
