1/18 Flying Tiger

Is anyone going to purchase the new 1/18 Flying Tiger P-40? I see that a lot of vendors are sold out of them.

I have the original XD release from a few years back and it's nice. The scale is slightly smaller than 1/18 but not too apparent at first glance. The originals were hard to find after the first month also, so if you collect 1/18 then this is must have!

Re: 1/18 Flying Tiger

I seen that some sites were selling them at $60.00 to $70.00 dollars.Lucky me I happen to work by a Toys R Us and they had 1 left for $40.00. It's an awsome model. You have to apply the chinese 12 point stars as decals though.

Re: 1/18 Flying Tiger

I picked up the original XD P-40 several years ago, it was my first 1/18 scale plane, otherwise I would get the one in the new packaging.

Re: 1/18 Flying Tiger

I have the Orig as well...Today one of my friends bought the new one and says it's the same as mine but it came with decals rather then the stickers that came with
the first ones...Also had a fancy looking box too.
So all in all it's the same but for the decals....Which is what i later used on my P-40 too.
