Re: Any WallyWorld sightings?

This week one WM stocked the 1/48 ShangriLa and Bald Eagle. The ShangroLa all had badly bent loose props. I am glad hworth helped me get a good one.

Re: Any WallyWorld sightings?

Gort,
I think many of us are waiting to find that 1:32 Spitfire when it shows up.
My area Wally World sold out of all the P-51 Bonnie Mustangs....It's about time..I hope they didn't have more in the back room....
Maybe now we will see some new stuff.

Re: Any WallyWorld sightings?

I ransack six or seven WalMarts around town occasionally, hoping to snatch new 21st Century models; but no luck lately. I take that back: I purchased a couple of Marders a month ago; but for that, the well’s run dry.

Have any of you 21st Century warbird/AFV lovers had better luck?

I understand they're about to issue a 1/32 Spit (which I’m drooling over), but it hasn’t materialized in my neck of the woods yet. How’s about you?

Have you tried your local Toys R Us's??? TRU now carries 21st stuff and often carries stuff we won't see in Walmart for months..

The only new stuff recently in Walmarts was the "Yellow 11" Fw-190A8 and the 1/144 Spitfire/Fw-190 & Spitfire /Frank combos..

Re: Any WallyWorld sightings?

I don't how all of you feel, but I get tired of shopping for these models at Wal Marts and Toy R Us. Both stores usually only carry only a few things and many times not the ones being sought after. And it takes forever for any turn around in the product. That's the only thing I do not like about 21st century - - they're distribution system sucks! The only positive thing about using Wal Mart and Toys R Us is the price! Also, if any of you guys find the models you have been looking for, please post pics. It's nice to see the actual model instead of always looking at the manufactures pics. Thanks!

Re: Any WallyWorld sightings?

One of my local Walmarts had one new one in, or just got around to putting it on the shelf. It was a 1/32nd scale P-47 Tarheel Hal, but other than that nothing else new.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.
