Got this on ebay last week for about $80. I've been looking for one for some time and never seemed to have any luck. Did they not make very many of them?

This probably won't make you feel any better, but I found one on clearance at a small town New Mexico Walmart a little over a year ago-- price was $14,99 plus tax. I think it is a great Spitfire-- the best of the Spitfires done by 21st Century.

I just picked one up a few weeks back...It's my favorite looking Spitfire.
A year ago these were cheap now i have seen them on the bay anywhere from 69.00 to 100.00.

IMHO 21st did a good job on this one...Somehow Corgi was in on this model some how too

Tyler - if it's ANY consolation....

I ALSO paid $80 (£40) for my "Borough Of Lambeth" off of E-bay (UK) a few summers ago.

I DID get involved in a bidding-war (over-enthusiasm) & paid 'more than I wanted' - but, then again, they ARE much harder to come-by over here in the U.K.
