Re: BBI P-51D Donald Duck

V12MAN:

I just got my Donald Duck yesterday and compared it to my 21st Century Big Beautiful Doll. The Donald Duck had virtually no defects, just "microscopic" ones, compared to my Big Beautiful Doll. I bought 4 BBDs and all of them had defects such as gouges, scratches, big glue smears, missing pieces, etc.
I was very happy with my DD in terms of detail and workmanship vs. my BBD.
Sorry you got a lemon Donald Duck---I suggest you return it for a replacement. That's what I did with 3 BBDs. I kept BBD #4 and fixed it myself because I couldn't found one without defects.
