1:32 stuka and zero

I have been interested in buying these models and would like to know what you think and how well made they are and the detail level.
Thanks Mike

Re: 1:32 zero

Mike
I have 2 Zeros. Gray A6M2 and Green A6M3 from the dogfight set. Both look OK on my bookshelf but up close they have more fit problems with wing gaps and around the canopy tahn other models I have. Also had to look at more of these to find the ones I did due to paint issues and the cowling being misaligned. In spite of the problems i like them and they do look OK from arms length. For less than $15 plus tax I would get them again

Re: 1:32 stuka and zero

I have both Stukas and Zeros and I would say the Stukas have worse fit problems that the Zeros, just for the fact that the wings are really tough to get into place on the fuselage, but the Zeros I have had fit problems also until I sanded some excess plastic of the assembly and they fit much better.. Jlspec is right about the paint alignment though (fuselage stripes) as some aren't aligned very well and are noticeably off..

I will say this though.. The color of the Akagi and early A6M2 Zeros look spot on as it appears that 21st got the "Ame-Iro" color reasonably correct..
