Landing gear issue with F-104

I've now purchased 2 1:18 F-104's and both of them have had one of the main gear squat real bad and then break. Anyone else had this issue?

Hey there

I have one F-104 1:18 scale and it has had no issues with any part of the model.

Re: Landing gear issue with F-104

I have had the German F 104 sitting on its gear for more than a year now with no issues.

Re: Landing gear issue with F-104

I have three 104's, one for over two years (I think) that's been sitting in a closet and generally roughed up BUT no gear issues at all!

Sorry to hear about your gear problem though Tyler.

Well thanks for bursting that bubble pal I figured with the Starfighter's aerodynamics if I could stuff myself in the cockpit and weigh down the front I could win some soap box derby races...
