Re: New Tool 1/32 P-51D!!!

I'm a bit suspicious about not being able to see the landing gear. Is this like one of those real estate photos where they position the shot so that the pine tree conveniently blocks out the cooling tower from the nuclear power plant next door?

If they've corrected it I would think they'd want to show it off..

I think it is obvious from Harry's post (#34) that it didn't get corrected.

Oh, roger that.....Nice that 21st is showing a picture of a different model on the box itself then....How do they get away with that?

Re: New Tool 1/32 P-51D!!!

Three questions for anyone who has bought the new !/32 P-51:

1. Does it have weathering?
2. Does the pilot come with an oxygen mask? (I don't see one)
3. I don't see a slot behind the canopy so it can it slide like on the 1/18 P-51s. Does the 1/32 canopy slide ok?

4. Does BBI's 1/18 Donald Duck have the canopy slot?

1) No weathering on Miss Bonnie
2) No pilot oxygen mask, but he is nicely done
3) New mold eliminates the old S1 canopy slot. The new model has it on rails and it slides very nicely

4) Don't have a BBI Mustang so I cannot comment

Miss Bonnie has a very garish paint scheme and I almost did not buy it. After a few weeks it has grown on me and I like the splash of color it provides. Hope this helps.
