I was looking at some 21st Century replicas at Wal-Mart and they were all at everyday prices. I've seen other posts about Wal-Mart putting many of their 21st Century stuff on clearance. To avoid me dropping by Wal-Mart everyday to check for clearance prices, does Wal-Mart have a particular day when they put up clearance items?

It depends on the Walmart, but if you are looking for clearanced XD Aircraft, many are already clearanced and long gone.. I still have some planes in my AO, but they are still at the original clearance price of $25.00..

I then revisited a Toys R Us and they had 3 Blue Box 1/18 F4U Corsairs---the same as the last time I visited.

Having looked at other posts about their Wal-Marts and Toys R Us getting lots of new inventory and/or clearance prices, I was disappointed. Tomorrow, I'll hit some other stores.

The TRU in my AO just got the BBi F6F Hellcats in.. And most of the other Walmarts except one are pretty much cleared out of XD planes..

The Walmart closest to me has not put any 21st Century on clearance except the 1/18 for $25. A WM 10 miles away clearanced all the 1/48 and 1/144 Dogfights for $4. There does not seem to be much rhyme or reason

I found a Wal-Mart/"Big Beautiful Doll" for $25, but there was a conspicuous black dot of paint on the pilot's Mae West. I'll try another Wal-Mart.

This is the first BBD I've seen in person and detail-wise it certainly pales in comparison to the Blue Box's "Killer" photos I've seen, BBD's pilot is very inferior to Killer's.

Question 1: I know Landers shot down both Japanese and German planes which accounts for the top row of Rising Sun decals under the canopy, but what are the remaining rows of white decals for?

Question 2: Is there a complete list of Blue Box's new 1/32 planes?

Dragon, if I were you, I'd by the plane, imperfections and all. That dot is easily fixed with either a small amount of nail polish remover or by painting over it.

I am close to six Walmarts. There is no rhyme or reason to when they put their stuff on clearance. About half of the stores around here have a separate aisle for toys on clearance; one of the stores has the aisle no where near the toy section. I was disappointed because I didn't pick up a 1/18 Old Crow when it was on sale for $25. Then I found it three weeks later for $15 at a different store.

(I found another Wal-Mart with 3-4 BBD's on the top shelf of a rack so I couldn't see them upclose, but the price was $39.84. I'm going to drop by later on and re-check the prices.)

It was another Wal-Mart. The TRUs around here hardly ever get 21st Century airplanes bigger than 1/144. Another thing that I should mention is that the price tag on the shelf said "$39.95". I took it to a scanner and it scanned as $15, so I bought it.

(My Wal-Mart also has about 10 1/18 planes on an upper rack so I couldn't se them and the price was $39.84)
