According to some of the posts on SmallScaleHQ, Wal-Mart employees are saying they're no longer carrying 21st Century 1/18 planes---that would explain the $15--$25 clearances.

In all honesty, I would think many of the 21st Century 1/18s are being returned due to defects---that would drive Wal-Mart to discontinue them.

This is true.. I spoke to a 21st rep recently and was told Walmart will no longer carry the 1/18 XD Airplanes..
