F-104 and P-51 new scheme? spotted...

Just been to Wal*Mart and saw the Canadian F-104 "Tiger" scheme and the Big Beautiful Doll P-51D. Both very nice but did not lure me enough to get these, so there you go.

The 1/18 scale BBD looks pretty good to me....They did a better job on this one then the first one they did a few years back.

It's true that the re-tooled second version of 21st Century's P-51 Mustang is a significant improvement over the first, but it still hasn't quite matched
BBI's superior moulding on their P-51. If you're talking about ultimate detailing -- BBI's wins hands-down!

I agree but Big Beautiful Doll is worth getting if you can find one that has a decent paint job. I had to go thru 6 of them at my local Walmart to find a good one. But the Doll may not have the detailing of a BBI Mustang but its well worth it because of the paint scheme alone.
