Re: 21st Century 1/144 Airplanes

Do these require assembly?
Also, where canyou find them?

I've got some Doyusha Spit mk VB's, P-51D's, Fw-190A-5's and Zeros. They're 1/100 but the look really good. will put some pics up later. All pre-painted. onlt assembly is required. Missed out on the Bf109F's though, which is a pitty.

The only place I have ever found them is Walmart.

Bad cat aviation online carries them, but they are a little more expensive..

Unhappy Re: 21st Century 1/144 Airplanes

Now they have added Old Crow to the mix. I wish I would have bought the Ridge Runner P-51 when I had the chance. Now I cant find them anywhere!

Re: 21st Century 1/144 Airplanes

Wal Mart now has them in the clearance section as they re-do toy shelves for Christmas.

Smartd,
You have seen these in Canadian Wal Marts?
They usually don't carry these types of items. At least not the ones I have been to in the GTA (Toronto) area.

Re: 21st Century 1/144 Airplanes

The Dogfighting duo "P-51 OldCrow vs Fw-109" as well as the single pack 190 w/bombload you can find at Wal*Mart. Do check out Toys R Us as 21st Century Toys
products recently made a comeback at the shelves as well. You can get a combo "P-51 Petie 2nd vs Fw-190A" set over at TRUs.

Sorry Merritec, should have noted Wal Marts in Buffalo. You are correct we do not see them up here.

Re: 21st Century 1/144 Airplanes

I missed the Old Crow set. However, if anyone would like the FAA Wildcat set or the Petie 2nd set, PM me - I should be able to hook a few of you up.
