The best way to "Sneak it in the house"? I've always found hiding them in my pants.

Re: 1/18th B-25!!!!

Is that a bomber in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: 1/18th B-25!!!!

"Oh this"? The guy down the street gave it to me he makes them and just gives them to people! I have to trim his lawn twice but he's building me three F-4 phantoms. The area over the vestebule needs something don't you think? I found this on the porch and it needs a home. I beat up another fellow up at Walmart to keep him from harming himself. Funny thing is this model was 1/600th when I bought it the other day.

PS. If these excuses don't work just tell her you "Built it" but your not comfortable with showing your art because it's incredibly tedious!!!!

I hope they make a Ruptured Duck nose art one.

Re: 1/18th B-25!!!!

Well let's see how do you get a big 1/18 in the house with out your wife knowing about it.......
That's easy have it shipped UPS and watch the ups tracking on what day it comes in and take that day off while she's at work

Yes, but then where do you put it on display without her noticing -- it's pretty ez for me to sneak new 1:72 models into my hangar with the Mrs. really knowing -- after the first dozen, they all started looking the same to her I think :-) This...

Maybe I'll get one for a weathervane?

Now that would make an impressive ornament on top of my gazebo!

Re: 1/18th B-25!!!!

I say we have some options here:

1) chop the model up and bring it in piece by piece
2) chop off the wife and throw it in the river piece by piece
3) get a divorce
4) live a double life, one with your old family, the other one with your 1/18 collection (in an old warehouse)

Johny Cash sang a song about your number one. He snuck a Cadillac home one piece at a time.
