| Re: New 1/32 Bf-109F/G's are now out!!! That turned out very nice. It's worth pointing out though that this aircraft did not have the underwing cannons. The aircraft was stripped of paint (presumably) to increase speed for intercepting RAF mosquitos; adding underwing cannons would have been counterproductive because they reduced maximum speed considerably. I'm not sure if the cannons can be removed from the model or not. Either way, it's a cool scheme. Ian | ||||||||||||||

Ian, I know, but I just like the cannons soooooo much, and it not only came with cannons, but a centerline bomb, so I added the cannons.. It may not be historically correct, but it's just so dang cool!!!! ![]()

| Re: New 1/32 Bf-109F/G's are now out!!! Found these 2 today as well, but I somehow missed the desert and stripped metal ones. Maybe they'll turn up in a few weeks.Again, many more tampo stencils on these, including on the fuel tank, which the E models and 190s do not have. These seem to be the best of the bunch so far. They have even hidden the screw now by arranging it so the air intake covers it after the screw is fitted. The HP leading edge slots move and better than on the 1/48 version. The lights are clear colored green and red plastic not just painted. The pilot doesn't just look realistic, he has an expression on his face...I'd say dour. Nice work 21st!By the way, anybody ever have any luck getting parts for any of the 21st C models? Are they pretty good about that? | |||||||||||||

Red 8 and the Otto Schultz Libya Messerschmitts showed up in MI today finally. I passed on Red 8 but the Schultz plane was a must have. Should have the Gemini one with similar scheme by Wed. but there is just something about walking out of WM w/ one of these babies in your hand and for just $15. It's very nice. ![]() ![]()
