Re: New 1/32 Bf-109F/G's are now out!!!

Oh Heck they look real good,I am really going to hate myself in the morning but I have to ask, Would someone give their thoughts on these and how they compare with Corgi. Things like engine detail etc. I just know I will give in and buy some if the reports are good. Yet another fine mess you got me into! Its not diecast thats the addiction its listening to you guys that gives me financial indigestion.

Jim,
They make great fill in's for the planes you don't have in a diecast.
I have only one Fw190 that i got from Harry a few months back and
I love it....So of my friends thought Corgi made it because i used a Corgi stand to display the model.
The detail on the model is pretty good IMHO and it does look nice along with the Corgi 1/32 fighters.
The Stuka's they make are nice as well.

Jim,
I display mine alongside my Corgi and if you don't pick them up, you really can't tell any difference.. I have 40+ 1/32 planes and these are a GREAT deal for what you get...

Where do you find the place to put 40+ 1/32 fighter planes ?
That is one big collection of planes there Harry.
You need to take pictures of these someday too.

Re: New 1/32 Bf-109F/G's are now out!!!

oOOOooH no, I had decided not to buy anymore larger scale stuff (no space)and then I saw the post and the pictures. Some of those schemes look really nice ,oh heck I shall just have one of them and no more than ? Well maybe two and thats definately the end of bigger scale stuff. Hmmn but there are at least three I like! Its no good I shall have to do a loft conversion and make a den up there. I must get more space. They may be the straw that broke the camels back. How much will it cost for the conversion just to house my collection. This is one very expensive hobby. Crikey 40 of them!! Do you live in a hanger?

Lol.. No, I don't live in a hangar.. The majority of my 1/32 planes are still in boxes and I have them in plastic tubs in the garage....

I did receive the desert Bf-109f today and took some quickie pics..

That is nice looking Harry. I love these too. That Big Hog and several of these are gonna be mine I'm afraid. I saw that desert Stuka at WM not long ago and passed. These 109s seem outstanding though. Still want that Eileen P-47 too but that's gonna have to be an ebay purchase I'm sure. SO far of all mine I think the 190s are the best. What do you think?

The new "Blue 12" is my personal favorite, but just because I love the paint scheme.. If I had to choose for actual build quality and schemes, I would have to go for the new Corsairs.. They are absolutely great all the way around!!
