Unhappy Extreme Detail.

Talk about extreme detail or As Real As It Gets. This is it my friends. I had a friend email me this and its a 1/18th Mustang done by some company over seas and it retails for about, oh $14K!!! It could be bigger in scale he didn't know but he thought I should see it and I thought I would pass along to you guys. Heres more pics:

Like I said if I made that kind of money I would grab one right away but unfortunately I don't. I only wish Hurry Home Honey had this kind of Merlin Engine detail.

Re: Extreme Detail.

Unfortunatly guys those are the only 2 photos he sent me. I emailed him to get more because the photos have givin me some ideas on what to do with my HHH Mustang. Thats not good because when I see something like this it gives me more ideas. I sent him pics of HHH. Old Crow and BBD and he said of the 3 HHH was the one worth detailing. He has no love for 21st because as he said and I quote " For as much money as you guys spend on their aircraft they could at least get them right and add more detail ". He said the detail on HHH was very well done and if he didnt have the money he would have bought one of those instead. But he does have the money so he bought one of these super detailed Mustangs. The guy I'm freinds with his name is Nathan and he's a Mustang junkie who knows everything there is to know about Mustangs, you name it he knows it, and I thought I was bad! He said the checkers were all wrong on BBD and Old Crow was just as bad. He did say they were "passible" but that was it. Oh well live and learn I say.

Anyway yes these Mustangs are keepers and for that price they should be. Once he sends more photos I'll post them guys.

Re: Extreme Detail.

Alph, are you sure about that? The two look a bit different to me.

Re: Extreme Detail.

Hi Captain,
Unless there is a kit and you have really examined the webpage and know the history of Young C Park I'd be 100% sure it's the same model. He polishes this model at some point it seems. But none were ever sold! It's almost like me telling this group I built all my 21st model collection. The model we speak of is over 7 years old when I first seen the original thread I was pretty sure it was the same model. Until we see the rest of these photos it's a mystery Alph

Re: Extreme Detail.

Alph, the photos Steve posted show paint detail, where as Park's are bare metal....does Park paint his, because the site never shows a painted "finished" model. I'd give Steve a chance before jumping too far on this.
