YOu can try putting some fine fabric, such as nylon from leggings, over the end of the tube of a vaccuum cleaner and carefully run it over the area where you think the "lost" aerial might be... I've dug a few out of my plush dark green carpet with this trick, and I'm now resorting to a dab of white glue with all my Dragons on display...
