I cut the antenna off of mine. I believe there was a gun camera there on the little spot where they have the antenna. I'm too lazy to go get all of my Beaufighter books out right now  |
I believe that the Beaufighter Mk X, which this one is supposed to depict had a thimble nose radome, with only the older nightfighter marks of the Beau having the Radar Antenna, though I could be wrong on this. Still, that's a tiny flaw, and it always gives one the option of modifying this model into a nightfighter variant, if only the rockets could be gotten off its wings.
