I'm pretty sure you can still get most of the Johnny Lightning Star Trek collection for close to RRP. I have the original 60s TV series Enterprise and the movie refit version and I think they're great. The Corgi diecast version is just a little more detailed but for the price I prefer the JLs.
Star Trek stuff is fairly solid as an investment choice, if you have time to wait (say 15 or twenty years) you can get a nice little return. I had some action figures from the 1st Motion Picture that I picked up in the mid 80s at $1 a piece in a bargain bin somewhere. They paid for a lot of beers in my first year of college... |
