| How many FM F-4 PhantomPhan's would like to see an Israeli Airforce scheme done next? I'm just curious to know. Thanks. | flyXwire - You bet - I'd like to see one in 1/48th scale; that said, however, my feeling is (being the eternal pessimist that I am, at least where Armour/FM is concerned...!!!) they'll just " it up", just like 98% of everything else they do. Let's face it - they (FM or whoever is supposedly controlling Armour these days) simply "Don't give a " and it shows in almost everything they crank out nowadays - even with the ability to do the job right. If it weren't for the fact that I simply do not have the time nor the patience to build custom plastic models anymore, I'd have ditched most of my FM stuff a long time ago. Far too many disappointments vs. joys. I like certain model types, but after having had disappointment after disappointment, I'm on the verge of giving up. Yes, the Kurnass (or better yet, the "Super Phantom 2000...!!!") would be cool, but even if they DO come out with one, they'll be so many (and obvious!!) flaws in it, I'd be willing to bet it almost won't be worth it - great paint scheme and pad-printed graphics not withstanding. Don't hold your breath, and don't expect a lot if they do...!!! - JY |
