A "deal" somehow always makes a model more appealing, doesn't it.... I mean, I ALMOST picked up that Down for Double P-51 yesterday. Beatiful scheme, I said, who cares if the mold is a bit... dated...
But I talked myself out of it.
The PBJ on the other hand is one I've always liked, and I owned it before. I sold it not too long ago and kind of regretted it. So when I saw it on the shelf yesterday I just had to reacquire it. Looks great in my new glass shelves in my Billy cabinet with the crew working on it...

This one I won't be selling.
I have a love/hate releationship with my FM P-51 "Fickle Fanny" -- the FM P-51 is perhaps even worse than Corgi's, no, it is worse... but it is the first "real" diecast airplane I bought and I was awfully proud of it then -- back when I was a newb collector that "didn't know any better".
I've come close to selling it off a few times, and am considering it again, but it has nostalgic value for me that makes it more of a silk purse than a sow's ear I suppose.
